HTC One MaxThe HTC One is a great phone — so great you might wish there was more of it. Thus, the news of a larger version of the device has had phablet fans on the edge of their seats. The screen is expected to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 5.9-inches with the same 1080p resolution. Even with the larger screen the One Max would have an impressive 373 pixel per inch. That’s more than enough for a “retina-class” experience. The BoomSound speakers and all aluminum shell are still on the menu, as is the Ultrapixel camera. In the leaked images of what appears to be the One Max there is an odd square below the camera. This is reportedly a fingerprint scanner for securing the device. However, this might be a regional feature for the Asian market. Internally, the One Max is will probably be a small update to the original flagship. Likely specs include a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. It’s going to be a big device (that’s it above to the right of the Note 3), but HTC is not rumored to be planning on any stylus technology similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. It’s just a bigger version of the One, but that might appeal to a lot of people.
