Chapter 4 - An Inverted Funeral
Our goal in Chapter 4 is to enter three passwords into a key panel at the foot of the lighthouse.
They are the "Welcoming Words", "Our Little Town", and "Link Test" passwords. Let's do one at a time.
Welcoming Words
Listen to the gramophone priest's eulogy for Anna (if you changed the channel, he's speaking on channel one). He gives some "welcoming words". These are clues. They are:
"The moon", "The head of a black dog", and "A smile from a stranger".
These are references to the strange shapes being displayed on the projector in the believer woods.
We need to take the whole moon image, just the top-left triangle from the black dog image (the head), and the bottom three shapes from the stranger (the smile).
Put those all together into one image and input the strange shape on the welcoming words screen of the lighthouse password screen.
It should look like the above image.
Our Little Town
Go to the vestry. You can get there by following the sentence that comes out of the gramophone priest's channel selector. The screen will be mirrored, so look at your device in a mirror (or just look at our screen cap) to get the first clue for the Our Little Town password.
Next, set the gramophone priest to channel two. The instructions will be read out backwards but if you go back to the vestry, you will hear the words in the correct order.
Or, (if you're an idiot like us) you could record the instructions with your computer and reverse the audio yourself. Here's what it says.
And here's the transcript.
"South of Agent Alpha lives Agent Beta."
"Between Agent Alpha's House and Agent Beta's House there's an old abandoned house without any doors."
"Me and Agent Alpha are neighbours."
"Agent Alpha's house is the only house in our town with a chimney."
"I live in a modern house with a flat roof, just like Agent Beta."
By combining those clues with the image we found in the vestry, we can fill in the My Little Town password at the lighthouse.
The answer looks like the one above.
Link Test
This one's easy. You should have seen this grid before, and the clue "IS MY EX".
If you remember where the letters are and apply them to the grid on the lighthouse keypad, all you need to do is use the lines to draw links between the letters 'I' and 'S'; 'M' and 'Y'; and 'E' and 'X'.
